Crochet Shawl - Indigo Blue

This triangular crochet shawl is made from a wool and alpaca mix yarn in indigo blue.

The shawl can be worn draped over the shoulders and it is equally lovely when wrapped around the neck as a scarf.

The shawl has a lovely drape and it’s nice and lightweight but also cosy.

The pattern is called ‘Joan’ and is my own design. The pattern is available here.

The shawl measures approximately 180 cm (71 inches) along its longest top edge (the wingspan) and about 90cm (35 1/2 inches) from the centre of that edge down to its point.

My mannequin is a UK size 12.

The yarn is 65% wool and 35% alpaca. Hand wash your shawl in cool water with a gentle yarn wash such as Eucalan and lay the shawl flat to dry.
